I like aquamend! Its like $3 for a tube and works great IMO. Granted it isnt purple like the coralife stuff, which is crap, but if you don't use half the tube per rocck its not bad. Plus, I like the fact that it can be cracked apart if down the road you want to redo it. Personally I only glue certain rocks together, gives you the choice of change

Silicone will work on plexi and rocks you just have to use quite a bit.
They actually make a silicone that sticks to plexi its made by GE, I sent them an email a few weeks back asking if it was basically the same as the regular stuff and if it would be OK to use in a tank. haven't heard anything back from them but if I ever do I will let everyone know because I know it would come in handy for allot of stuff.
