Well, way to make all of the pics in the TOTM thread look like crap. I'm going to go play in traffic now.

What kind of camera do you have Mike?

Just a canon rebel xti with the stock 18-55mm lens. I use a couple screw on magnifying lenses for the close up shots. The same ones Bill has.

I'm looking at the canon t1i or t2i (depending on how much the t1i price drops when the t2i comes out in march). Did you find your remote shutter trigger on ebay or something? I want to say the the one I saw on canon.com was like $250. Don't quote me on the price though. Also are you using a tripod for your pics.
Bill, you can see the "blue" pictures that gary was talking about in the pics of the 75 but it looks fine in the 28g nano. Did you use white balancing or was it just the different lights in the 28 that made them more natural looking. BTW - Having a baby is a good way to convince your spouse that your current camera is inadequate. Did you do much research for your lens? I read somewhere that the lenses that come with the camera in a kit don't give too much flexibility and that buying one or two nice ones is a better option. It looks like you both use the standard 18-55mm (something like that) lens that comes if you purchase the camera kit and not just the body. Do you have any cons about this lens? |

I would love to buy a different lens but I just cant bring myself to drop 500+ on one. I believe the pic of the 75 was with only the actinics on. I found my remote shutter for like $20 on amazon. It sucks though because the sensor is in the front AND hiden in a big recession so you have to be infront of the camera for it to work. The wired shutter release I paid like $14 for. Works good.

Yeah, the 75 pics are so blue because it was actinics only and I don't do post work in PS or any of those programs. I put online the pic that comes out of my camera, LoL. Once our youngest is old enough to be at a babysitter for a good length of time Teresa and I would like to take some photog classes and I'm sure a PS class will be in there as well.

![]() Love the green macro in the bottom right. Dont remember what its called though. I got it from LA reefs. ![]() Yellow multibandeds are doing great. I found the dragonface dead today though when I was cleaning the tank. Probably starved...never did take to frozen. Poor thing. Shame on me for neglecting the tank for so long. ![]() I love the blue ochtodes! Growing nice and love the color! ![]() This is the one I was talking about. ![]()
